Can I repay a boosted transaction early?

Yes, you can repay a boosted transaction early and save yourself some interest at the same time.

Here are some key things to remember:

1. You can repay one boosted transaction early at a time.
2. You can pay back the full boosted amount, or only part of it.
3. You’ll save some interest.
4. If you repay part of the full amount early, your monthly repayment amount will remain the same. We’ll instead reduce the number of instalments, as this gives you the best savings.

Follow these steps to repay a boosted transaction early:

1. In the Explore tab of your app, select ‘HandyFin Boost’.
2. Under ‘Boosted transactions’, select ‘View all’.
3. Tap the transaction you’d like to repay early.
4. Select ‘Pay early’ at the bottom of the screen and follow the instructions.

When repaying a boosted transaction early, you need to have enough money on your HandyFin GBP balance to cover the amount. If you have less than what you’d like to repay, we’ll ask you to top up first.
