If I drive for a ridesharing company (e.g., Uber or Lyft), will my policy cover me?

If you use a vehicle on your policy to drive for a ridesharing company (e.g., Uber or Lyft), you should indicate that during your quote and consider purchasing Rideshare Coverage/Side Hustle Auto Coverage. This optional coverage provides extra insurance when you are logged into a ride sharing app and are awaiting a passenger match. Note that this Add On does not cover you while you are en route to pick up a passenger or while you have a passenger in the car (often times this is covered by your ridesharing company but we recommend double-checking).
