If you’ve entered the wrong PIN or CVC for your card, don’t worry! Here’s what will happen:

If you’ve entered the wrong PIN at the point of sale or at an ATM, we’ll temporarily block all payments from your card (including online and contactless. This is for security reasons in case someone is trying to use your card without your authorisation.

If you’ve entered the wrong CVC more than 3 times while online shopping, we’ll temporarily block all online payments from your card for the reasons mentioned above.
We’ll automatically unblock your card (with the same PIN and CVC) after 00:00 midnight (UK time) of the day that it was blocked.
This block happens physically on your card, which means that our Support team can't lift the block remotely and you'll need to wait until midnight for your card to become usable again.
