Can I open a business account if I am a sole trader?

If you’re a sole trader, you can use your HandyFin personal account for all your sole trader activities without needing to open a business account.

This is because you're not legally required to open a separate business account as a sole trader. For tax purposes, your personal and business matters are treated as one and the same.

At the moment, we only offer business accounts to registered companies in the UK.
