Purchase protection
The £50 deductible has been removed and replaced with a minimum item value of £100. This means you’ll no longer pay a £50 excess when you make a claim, and instead, you’ll get full payment for any item over £100.
You’re now covered for purchases where the retailer or a third party provides credit to enable the purchase if payment is made from your HandyFin account.
You’re now covered for buying jewelry and watches. You can claim up to 50% of either the purchase price or our benefit limit (that’s up to £750 on Classic and £2,500 on Premium), whichever is lower.
Bills protection
If you’re self-employed, you’re now covered under the Temporary Total Disablement (TTD) Accident and Sickness benefit.
The hospitalisation benefit now covers you regardless of your employment status (employed, self-employed, not working, and retired).
The age limit for the hospitalisation benefit has been increased to 70.
