Important update to your account
Your HandyFin GBP account is provided by PrePay Technologies Limited (PPT) who is the e-money and card issuer for your account. PPT is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for the issuance of electronic money (FRN: 900010).
From 1 February 2024, we’ll begin moving your HandyFin GBP account from Prepay Technologies Ltd (the e-money and card issuer for your account) to HandyFin Ltd (authorised and regulated by the FCA to issue e-money - FRN: 900188).
This means HandyFin Ltd will become the e-money institution responsible for your HandyFin GBP account, including for protecting your money. Your card will still be issued by PPT.
Want to keep your HandyFin account?
If that sounds complicated, don’t worry! You shouldn’t notice any difference to how your app or account works, and you can carry on using your app, account and card as normal. There also won’t be any changes to our fees.

Opting out
We’re able to make these changes under section 1.1 of our Terms and Conditions, which allows us to move your HandyFin account from Prepay Technologies Ltd to HandyFin Ltd.
If you’d rather not carry on after these changes, you can choose to close your account free of charge and transfer your money to your bank account before they take effect – but we’ll be sorry to see you go! To close your account in your HandyFin app, head to Account Settings and follow the steps under Close account. If you continue to have your HandyFin GBP account on 1 February 2023, we’ll assume you are happy with the change.
