Important information about your account
As a regulated financial institution, we continually look at how our customers use our services. This includes monitoring for any potential risks that might arise from unused accounts.
We noticed that you haven’t used your HandyFin account, and haven’t added any money to your account balance.
As it appears to us that your account is inactive, we’ll close it in two months from today on 9 February 2024. This will include your main HandyFin account and any others you’ve opened with us, such as a savings pot.
Your account statements will be available to download from your HandyFin app until your account closes. You won’t be able to access them after this, so you’ll need to get in touch with us.
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes you and thank you for your understanding of our decision.
Want to keep your account?
If you’d like to keep your account open, you can do so by adding money to your balance before 9 February 2024 – simply follow the steps under ‘Add money’ in your HandyFin app.
Or, if your needs change in future and you’d like to open a new account with us, we’d be happy to see you back. You can go through our sign-up process again to open your new account.
Your personal data
Once we’ve closed your account, we’ll only retain the data, information and records that we’re required to do so by our legal and regulatory obligations.
We’ll no longer send you any service communications. You might still receive marketing emails from us, which you can unsubscribe from whenever you choose.
